I´ve said this before and I will say it again... your experience is truely made up by the people you meet!

So... a mixed bag for me in Uruguay...

Colonia Del Sacremento - A Truely Amazing Day!

A very late night (or early morning!) saying goodbye to some friends I had become close to over the last week in BA... before being up and out by 8am to catch the Ferry and do border control to get into Uruguay.

Arriving in Colonia Del Sacremento at about lunch o´clock... I stopped for a bite to eat, and soon found myself talking with an Argentinian girl called Laura... also in Colonia as a tourist! Great! It wasn´t long before we found ourselves on mopeds exploring the place. Thankful of her Spanish... we found ourselves seeing the coolest places.

First stop... the derelict bull ring. We weren´t meant to enter here... but so glad we ducked the barbed wire!!! Inside gives you a real sense of feeling and history... and the echos make you imagine what it would be like to have heard the place full.

Enroute, also an enchanting church... before some Yoga on the beach... where the water was really warm!

Laura put me to shame!! Thankfully she found it rather amusing that I am so un-supple that I can´t touch my toes! New Years resolution... daily stretches!!!

Then a cute picture that summarises the town for me:

Before some Dulce De Leche filled pancakes! Yum! (Spanish speakers look away, since I guess the spelling is way out!)

Strangers

Today was brilliant. Meeting and trusting a complete stranger meant that I shared an experience I never could have expected or planned for. Exhilirating! (The mopeding rocked too!)

So... day two in Uruguay... off to the Capital... Montevideo...

Un-supple, Mopeding Bees Out!
